The Shiga Prefectural Citizens Exchange Center is located in the Piazza Omi building, which also houses a hotel. It has a 426-seat theater-style Piazza Hall, a 216-seat main conference room, 14 small and medium-sized conference rooms, Japanese-style rooms, tea ceremony room, etc., and can be used for various conventions, large and small.
The foyer in front of the main conference room is entirely made of glass, offering a panoramic view of Lake Biwa, Mt. Hiei, and other mountains.
The center is also adjacent to Biwako Hall, which can accommodate large scale international conferences.
The upper floor of the building houses the Hotel Piazza Biwako, a 70-room lodging facility with a large public bath, making it an ideal location for conventions.

The Shiga Prefectural Citizens Exchange Center at Piazza Omi has an excellent location facing Lake Biwa!
The theater-style Piazza Hall, with a 426-person capacity, can be used for a wide range of events, including academic conferences and lectures. In addition, the school-style large conference room with a 216-person capacity and 14 small and medium-sized conference rooms are popular for holding general meetings and breakout sessions on the same floor.
In response to the recent increase in the number of hybrid conferences being held, we also offer conference rooms that can be used for internet broadcasting.
Boxed lunches and catering can also be arranged for receptions.
The Hotel Piazza Biwako is also located in the same building, making it a convenient option for overnight stays.
