The Shiga Daihatsu Arena facility is designed to be functional for a variety of uses, with a focus on its main arena that can accommodate 5,000 people.
In addition to being optimized for sports competitions such as basketball and volleyball, the facility can also host school festivals, athletic meets, and community events. Sound and lighting equipment, as well as movable seating is also provided, allowing for flexibility according to the event. For spectators, there is a food and beverage area and barrier-free bleacher seating designed with wheelchair users in mind. Furthermore, amenity facilities such as a children's room and a nursing room are available.
This facility is well known by many as a base for local sports promotion and cultural activities.

From the Facility Representative
Since its opening in December 2022, the facility has been used by many and has become one of the centers for sports promotion in the prefecture. In addition to sports, the facility can also be used in a variety of ways such as for school festivals, graduation ceremonies, etc.
We will do our utmost to support MICE events at the prefecture's largest venue, and will continue to operate it with the aim of making it the No. 1 facility in Shiga Prefecture. We look forward to welcoming you with our energetic staff.
