Satoyu Mukashibanashi Yuzanso is a hot spring ryokan located along the western shores of Shiga Prefecture. Our accommodation features the waters of the historic Ogoto Onsen, a famous hot spring with over 1,200 years of heritage, and a view of the majestic expanse of Lake Biwa which will stretch out directly before you. Our facilities include a versatile conference hall capable of hosting up to 120 guests, and we are happy to provide the ideal room layout for the specific needs of your meetings, training sessions, or seminars. Most of our guest rooms are located on the upper floors overlooking the lake, featuring a modern Japanese design that creates a space filled with silence and tranquility. For our multi-course kaiseki meals, our Executive Chef, recognized as a Contemporary Master Craftsman, uses seasonal Shiga ingredients and premium Omi Beef to create stunning works of Japanese culinary art.
