After the conference, you can take a bath in the Ogoto Hot Spring, renowned for its alkaline ""Bihada-no-yu"" (meaning ""hot water for beautiful skin"" in English) spring water, which will make your skin feel smooth.
In addition, Shiga Prefecture is rich in local produce and meats such as Omi beef and fish from Lake Biwa, making enjoying dishes made using local and seasonal ingredients an excellent way to relax from the fatigue of conferences or events.
